About Math Practice
Math Practice will help a young person learn the four basic math functions; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This program tries to make the learning simple and fun too.

What are the computer requirements?
Math Practice will work on Macintosh computers with system software of MacOSX 10.3.9 and higher. It is a "Universal Binary" application so it will work on both PPC and Intel based Macs.

How do I use Math Practice?
Math Practice is simple to use. If you wanted to practice an addition problem, for example, there are 2 ways you can do that. First, you can choose to have Math Practice supply a problem for you by pressing the “Fill in a problem” button. Math Practice will then give you a random addition problem for you to solve. Second, you can choose to supply the problem yourself by typing in the two numbers in the provided boxes.

To solve your problem, use a piece of paper to calculate the answer. When you are finished press the “Get Answer” button below the Addition section and the answer will be shown. You can then check your answer by comparing it to the provided answer.

The Subration, Multiplication, and Division sections work the same as explained above.

Can practicing math be fun?
Of course it can! With Math Practice you can practice and learn at your own pace. You can give yourself as many problems as it takes for you to become comfortable with the math operations. Of course you can always enjoy the moving pictures and listen to music while you’re practicing too! That’s always fun.
